中国式英语与美国式英语的比较 

最后一班公共汽车是12点开。现在快12点了，赶快！
重点是“快”怎么表达。
中国式：The last bus leaves at 12 o\'clock. It\'s about 12 now, hurry up !
美国式：The last bus leaves at 12 o\'clock. It\'s nearly 12 now, hurry up !

周六去某景点游玩，见路边一告示：“请勿践踏草地。”还加了英文对照：
Don\'t step on the grass.
这是典型的中国式英语。本来加上英文是很好的，但不能说成中国式英语啊。你会怎么说呢？
美国式：Keep off the grass.

窃贼是从窗户进来的。你会怎么说呢？
中国式：The thief got in from the window.
美国式：The thief got in through the window.

从第十页开始这是英语老师常用的，但你会说成中国式英语吗？
中国式：Let\'s begin from page 10.
美国式：Let\'s begin at page 10.

给我点钱吧，如果你有的话。找父母要钱时的常用语，你会怎么说呢？
中国式：Give me money, if you have.
美国式：Give me money, if you have any.

我建议你修长假。
如果“建议”用 recommend，你会怎么说？
中国式： I recommend you to take a long vacation.
美国式：I recommend that you take a long vacation. 

不要对我期望太高。
期望用 expect，你会怎么说咧？
中国式：Don\'t expect me too much.
美国式：Don\'t expect too much from me.

有人在敲门，去看看是谁。你会怎么说咧？
中国式：Somebody is knocking on the door. Go and see who he is.
美国式：Somebody is knocking on the door. Go and see who it is.

你多重？询问别人的体重可要小心哦，尤其不能问漂亮 mm，对不熟的 mm 就算打死也不能问哦。
尽管不能问，但我们还是要学会正确的表达。你会说成中国式英语吗？
中国式：How heavy are you?
美国式：How much do you weigh?

我把帽子忘在出租车上了。
中国式：I forgot my hat in the taxi.
美国式：I left my hat in the taxi.

今天的这句也很简单：如果你和朋友到了一个陌生的地方，你经常会问他一句：
这是哪儿啊？
中国式：Where is here?
美国式：Where are we?

我的忍耐是有限度的！这是一句常用的话，你会怎么说呢？
中国式：There is a limit in my patience.
美国式：There is a limit to my patience.

大多数西方人是高鼻子。
中国式：Most westerners have high noses.
美国式：Most westerners have long noses.

火车晚了一小时。这句话很常用，似乎很简单，你能说对吗？(用过去时）
中国式：The train was late about an hour.
美国式：The train was about an hour late.

当你感到身体不适，而别人询问你时，你常常要说：我觉得不舒服。
很简单的一句话，你会怎么说？
中国式：I\'m uncomfortable./I feel uncomfortable.
美国式：I don\'t feel well.

女朋友的妈妈生病住院了，你能不去看？下面这句是要学会的：
我去医院看望了她生病的妈妈。
中国式：I visited her ill mother in the hospital.

俺去上海出差，朋友问我：“你认为上海怎么样？”
把这句话译成英文，是初中的内容吧？我希望都能说对。
中国式：How do you think about Shanghai?
美国式：What do you think about Shanghai?

假想情节：昨晚看了选美大赛，今天到了办公室和同事谈论此事时说的一句话：“她是一等奖。”
别认为简单哦，很容易犯错误的。
中国式：She was first prize.
美国式：She took first prize.

一个月领两次工资
工资不一定是按月发放的，如果要表达“我一个月领两次工资。” 你会怎么说咧？
中国式：I get my salary twice a month.
美国式：I get paid twice a month.
