中新社北京十二月二十六日电 据中国地震台网测定，北京时间二十六日二十时二十六分和三十四分，在南海海域(北纬二十一点九度，东经一百二十点六度)发生七点二、六点七级地震。震中距大陆最近海岸线约三百五十公里，距台湾陆地约十五公里。

　　台湾连续出现两次地震，令福建厦门、泉州等沿海地区及福州市感受强烈。

　　今晚八时二十六分产生第一次地震时，本社福建分社记者在福州的楼上突然感受到房子在轻微摇晃，桌面上的花瓶、电视机等都在晃动。停了一会儿，八时三十四分时出现第二次地震时，震感比前次更为强烈，整座房子的摇晃比前次更加厉害，记者坐在沙发上就象坐在摇篮中。房间的铝合金门窗响起了激烈的拍打声，放在桌上的茶杯因遭受摇晃，茶水不断溢出桌面。附近许多居民为安全起见，纷纷跑出房间到空地上避震。
